IV (intravenous) sedation is administered into the vein through the arm or hand for more extensive dental procedures or to reduce anxiety. Patients remain awake and experience no pain or discomfort. Dr. Oh is licensed and experienced in IV sedation.

Before treatment, Dr. Oh will determine if you’re a good candidate for IV sedation and will recommend the best option.

At the consultation, we’ll let you know exactly what to expect and if you should plan to have someone else drive you home. The levels of sedation vary, and Dr. Oh will choose the option that’s right for you.
